Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

Welcome to the Year 2 class page! This year marks an exciting new stage in your child’s learning journey. As expectations grow, we will help pupils develop independence, confidence and a love of learning – all within a happy, supportive and engaging classroom environment.

Our class page has been created to help parents and carers stay informed and connected. It is organised into three straightforward sections:

  • Year 2 Class Page – a central hub of important information for the whole school year, including key dates, routines and announcements

  • In Class – regular updates about what pupils are learning, the topics we are exploring and the experiences we are sharing

  • At Home – helpful guides, advice and resources to support your child’s learning beyond the classroom

We value the partnership between home and school and hope this page makes it easy for you to be involved in your child’s education.

Thank you for your continued support. We are looking forward to a fantastic year and to creating many positive and memorable experiences together.

Let’s make Year 2 a truly successful and enjoyable year for every pupil!
