A Warm Welcome from our Headteacher
"As the Leadership Team of this wonderful school, we wanted to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to you all. Children from all faiths and non are warmly welcomed into our school family.
At St Veronica's, we want our children to be aspirational thinkers and learners. We don't believe in putting a ceiling on a child's potential, we want them to believe they can achieve greatness and be the very best version of themselves.
Our dedicated team of passionate staff are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can thrive academically, socially, morally and emotionally. We want exceptional behaviour, modelled by our staff who have high expectations and offer a broad curriculum filled with challenge and ambition for all.
Our motto, vision and values, as underpinned by our Mission Statement, set our standard for excellence where each child is valued as a child of God. At St. Veronica's children are proud of the work they produce and we celebrate their achievements, their gifts and their talents each week at our Praise Assembly. We are very much an integral part of the parish of St Marie's and we have a strong relationship with Rev Fr. Broadley.
Beyond academics, we offer a wide range of enriching extracurricular activities, allowing our students to explore their passions and develop new interests. From our wonderful Forest School (complete with chickens and guinea pigs) to sports to arts, music to science clubs, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
We are proud of who we are. Remember, our door is always open to you. Call our friendly office staff and come and have a look around in person. You will see for yourself what a fantastic school we are and you will be amazed at what has been in Helmshore this whole time.
As a small school, each child is known, loved and welcomed like a family member:
'Not just a school; a family.'
We would like to now invite you to explore more of our school on the Discover our School page.
