  • October Half Term Sports Camp!

    Sat 30 Sep 2023

Are you interested in your child jumping into a week of sports excitement this October half term? St Veronica's is forging a relationship with Get Into Keeping and Football, and together we're thrilled to bring you an awesome sports camp, right here at our school.

It will be a busy week of sportsmanship and Get Into Keeping and Football's licenced coaches will lead a variety of sports activities across our yard, fields and hall, ensuring a fun-fuelled experience from 8:30 to 16:30 every day between Monday 23rd and Friday 27th October.

Open to all primary school-age children, you can enrol for a day or the entire week.  Whether you have a budding athlete or looking for some active fun for your child, this camp will be for you :)

Spaces are available for children across the valley. With prices of £80 for the whole week or £20 per day (with a little extra special discount for St Veronica's children,) we believe this is great value for money. You can get more details by reaching out to Get Into Keeping and Football on 07308 155200 (Call, Message or WhatsApp) and take a look at their brochures attached. If you are ready to kickstart the fun, secure your spot now by enrolling at https://forms.gle/4SUgQpAwqTEd7d1C6.

  • Join Us for our delightful Open Morning, filled with coffee, cake, sweets and treats at St Veronica's R.C. Primary School!

    Sat 02 Sep 2023

We're extending a big invitation out for Friday, 29th September from 9AM to 11AM, not just to our prospective parents from across the valley with their little ones, but to each and every one of you who are part of St Veronica's family!  At our open coffee and cake morning, you won't just be on a fixed tour, you'll be roaming and catching real glimpses of our teachers and staff doing what they do best during our vibrant lessons and you'll be getting a feel for our nurturing, all-inclusive environment.  Our open morning is the perfect opportunity for you to explore our well-equipped facilities, see where we're at, see where we're going and meet and mingle with anyone you like.  We'll all be here to chat to or take you around.  You'll find out why our school is performing up there amongst the best!

But that's not all; you won't just get to know our school better, this is also a wonderful opportunity to make a difference beyond our school walls.  We are proud to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support during the open morning, and all proceeds from the coffee and cake sales will contribute to their invaluable work. :)

So, make a date with us on the 29th September and discover why St. Veronica's will be the first on your list and ultimately, the place where your child's educational journey begins.  We know we'll see you there!

P.S. Don't worry, we have plenty of tea and juice, too... Oh, and being in Rossendale you may need your raincoats for any adventures in our vast outdoor areas!

St Veronica's.  Not just a school; a family.
