Curriculum Newsletters

The school year is divided into three terms: Autumn, Spring, and Summer.  Each term is further divided into two half terms, numbered as Autumn 1, Autumn 2, Spring 1, Spring 2, Summer 1, and Summer 2.  Keep yourself informed and up to date with our Curriculum Newsletters.  There is one for every half term, and they provide you with the latest insights into the topics and themes we'll be exploring during that period.

Curriculum Maps

Many subject areas have their own curriculum maps which outline how the curriculum is taught throughout the academic year.  Additionally, each school class has its own overarching annual curriculum map that provides an overview of the subjects covered.  Remember, our school's Long Term Plans and Curriculum Intents are located on our Curriculum page.

EYFS Policy

Our EYFS Policy provides a general overview to our teaching practices and our curriculum aims based on the EYFS Statutory Framework and Development Matters.

RSE Letter for Parents

This letter is to inform you on what your child will be learning during RSE week in Summer 2. It's like a handy summary that contains key facts and important vocabulary words. If you have any questions or concerns regarding RSE week, please don't hesitate to talk to Reception staff.
