St Veronica's Sports Challenge
Thank you to everyone who has participated in the the St Veronica's Sports Challenges, the results are now in!
We have had over one hundred entries and have seen some incredible improvements over the four weeks with children showing us their school games values of determination, honesty, respect, self belief, passion and teamwork! We have enjoyed viewing your videos, photographs and emails and are so impressed with the different ways you have been keeping active whilst at home.
There is a PDF, below the results, which can be printed out at home for all of the children that have taken part over the last half term.
The children will receive their bronze, silver & gold certificates when we return in the autumn term.
Have a fantastic summer and stay safe.

St Veronica’s Virtual Sport Challenges
Spar Lancashire School Games are hosting a virtual sports day and we thought that at St Veronica’s we could use this opportunity to hold our first set of virtual sports challenges which will run until the end of term and can be entered multiple times to try to improve on your last go!
Using the Lancashire School Games video resources below we would like as many of our children to participate and send in a picture and/or video to email@example.com
Every child that takes part will receive a certificate of participation and the top three boys and girls from each class will receive a special certificate.
The top three boys & girls from each year group will be displayed on the school website each Friday until the end of term.
St Veronica’s will be doing the following events:
Throw Clap Catch
Egg & Spoon – Use the sprint track for distance
Long Distance (Rossendale Virtual Mile) - This can be found on the school website under ‘Stay in Workouts’. Run a mile, record your time & send it in!
We are looking forward to seeing your entries.
